Translation Solutions offers Captioning services for people who are deaf or have hearing impairments.  Captioning aims to describe all significant spoken dialogue and non-verbal information such as a speaker’s identity, manner of speaking, and/or music and sound effects using words or symbols.

Real-time Captioning converts the spoken word into instant text.  This simultaneous text can be shown on any of four state-of-the-art display options: laptop screen, television screen, LCD projection or LED Message Display Signs.  Our Real-time Captioning is used in classroom, seminars, and corporate presentations; from a student on a single laptop, to a large LED display for thousands, Translation Solutions offers the ultimate flexibility.

Our highly skilled stenocaptioner uses a laptop computer with stenographic input.  Special software translates and transmits the simultaneous text to the display screen of choice. Real-time Captioning generates an instant transcript. Clients can have a full text record on disc or on paper within minutes of the event. This instant word-for-word transcript can be used along with or in combination with American Sign Language interpretation, depending on your audience.

Security. For all those clients, either from the private or the public sector with special security needs, we offer personnel (currently with SCI access) with the ability to access classified data/information and support operations immediately. We are able to secure sensitive data and privacy act information, and meet all security clearance requirements for government agencies. Personnel employed shall either currently possess or be able obtain the security levels required. We will safeguard all of our clients’ property.
